Richard "Sandy" Benton Sanford was born in Long Beach, California on April 23, 1947. While there he spent many years working as an investigator for LA County. He later moved to Ridgecrest, where he passed away peacefully on December 6, 2021. He leaves behind two sons Jonathan B. Sanford and Richard M. Sanford and many other family and friends he had gained in his 74 years of life.
