Richard Clyde St. Clair

Richard C. St. Clair, age 79 passed away December 30, 2023 from Alzheimer's at Bella Sera Nursing Facility in Ridgecrest, California. He was born in Los Angeles, California to Helen Margurite and Robert Glen St. Clair.

Rich spent his entire career with the Federal Government: summers with the Forest Service Fire Department, as a Vietnam Vet in the Army, and after graduating Cal State Chico spent 30+ years as an Electrical Engineer specializing in missile guidance systems at China Lake.

Rich loved camping, fishing, hunting, and competition shooting. He was a loving pet owner. He fell for his wife's love of doxies and the theory that "you could never have just one doxie, they were like potato chips."

Rich loved his family dearly. His granddaughter gave him the title of "Silent Supporter". He encouraged all to follow their dream.

Rich was preceded in death by his mother and father, and youngest brother, Steven (Janet). He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Laurelrae (Lori), brother Russell (Judy), daughter Kimberly Bolton-Atencio (Vincent), grandchildren Mickayla Bolton, Lindsey Bolton, Nathan Atencio, and Trevor Atencio, and many close friends.

Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Rich's favorite charity Wounded Warrior Project.
