Richard Clarence Toborg, born on October 20, 1946, in San Fernando valley, California, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, in Ridgecrest, California, surrounded by his loving family.

Richard’s journey began in the San Fernando Valley, where he grew up and spent his younger years. After graduating from high school, Richard joined the United States Navy, where he proudly dedicated 20 years of his life, serving his country during the Vietnam War.

Throughout the decades, he exemplified integrity and kindness in all that he did, touching the lives of relatives, friends, and acquaintances alike.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn Toborg of 57 years, who remained by his side in unwavering love, support, and friendship.
Together they had two children Scott Toborg and Christy Johnson. He leaves behind his granddaughters Mariah Baker and Chloe Johnson, and his great-granddaughters Blakelee and Reegan Baker, and his loving step-sister JoAnn Johnson.

Richard’s passing marks the close of a life lived with humility and strength, and his absence will be deeply felt by all whose lives he touched. Richard lived his life quietly, leaving a lasting legacy defined by his actions and the people who will continue to love and remember him dearly.
