Scott Browning Davis
Scott was born to David and Norma Davis in Klamath Falls Oregon on June 22, 1955. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rhea, after 40 years of marriage. Scott and Rhea share a family of 7 children and 17 grandchildren and love nothing more than being together.
Besides being a family man, Scott was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In addition to being a man of faith, Scott was a stalwart member of his local community of Ridgecrest California serving on the planning commission and in his dedicated 27 year career as an employee of the local hospital.
Scott was adventurous, sarcastic, well-read, wickedly smart, musical, athletic, and outdoorsy. John Muir once said, "The mountains are calling and I must go." Scott answered that call every chance he got, and on August 14, 2017, he tragically lost his life in an accident fulfilling a lifetime dream of hiking the John Muir Trail with his son.
Please remember his sweet wife in your thoughts and prayers.
'Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright, The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light; And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout, But there is no joy in Mudville—mighty Casey has struck out.'
His funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, August 22 at the LDS church building at Norma and Las Flores.
