Sharon Elaine Whisnant

Sharon Whisnant, affectionately known to her family as "Mamaw," passed away peacefully on 09/23/25 at age 74.

She was the beloved wife of Bruce Whisnant, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Together they raised a family built on faith, kindness, and a deep love for one another.

Sharon was the proud mother of three children: Nick, Amber and Aimee. She was also blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren—too many to count—each of whom she loved deeply and uniquely. To every one of them, she was truly the best grandmother.

She will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, home cooked meals, her generous heart, and her ability to make everyone around her feel as if they were home. Sharon taught those closest to her the importance of loving one another and always putting family first.

She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and all who were fortunate to know her.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October,10th at 10:00 a.m. at Desert Memorial Park.
A celebration of life will immediately follow the service at 1225 W. Iowa Ave.
