Starla Lou Riddell 51, Of Ridgecrest CA, Died Friday April 27, 2018.  Starla passed peacefully with her family by her side.  Starla was born to James Thomas and Carolyn Lowe, on May 26, 1966 in Xenia, Ohio.  Starla has resided in Ridgecrest since 1990.  Starla enjoyed a 16 year career with the City of Ridgecrest, finishing as the transit services coordinator.

Starla is survived by her husband, David Riddell of Ridgecrest, son Steve Kushka Jr. of Ridgecrest, Daughter Kristina Benso OF Ridgecrest, Daughter Brittany Baker of Ridgecrest, her brother James Thomas Jr of Ridgecrest, Sister Jeannette Thomas of Ridgecrest, Brother Stoney Lowe of Trona.  and 6 Grandbabies, Khylee, Jesse, Kinzlee, Alyssa, Hayden, and Easton.

Starla loved life and always showed it with a huge smile.  she enjoyed camping and fishing, and watching the New England Patriots, most of all, she loved spending time with her family.  Starlaalways made sure holidays and birthdays were celebrated as a special occasion, having the entire family together celebrating.

services will be held at 9 am Saturday May 12 ^TH at Crossroads Community Church 235 N China Lake Blvd, Ridgecrest, CA.  burial will follow conclusion of service at Desert Memorial Park, 801 S San Bernardino Rd, Ridgecrest.  If you wish to send flowers, Please send them to Holland & Lyons Mortuary, 216 s Norma St, Ridgecrest.
