Thomas Leroy Mitchell

Thomas Leroy Mitchell passed away at home on August 7th 2025 in Ridgecrest California. He was born on October 19th 1951 in Frederick Oklahoma. His death proceeds his parents James and Sarah Mitchell wife Donna Mitchell grandson Dylan Mitchell and nine siblings. He is survived by his sister Cora McGinnis brother and sister-in-law gene and Loretta Mitchell, his children Amber Mitchell Jason Zimmerman Sarah Mitchell and stepson Robert Barron. Along with their spouses Michael Miles and Jennifer Barron and three sister-in-laws Cheryl ,Lynette and Luana. He has 10 grandchildren three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He served in the army and moved to Ridgecrest and worked for public works department on base for over 41 years until he retired in January of 2021. He was always smiling and loved working on things around the house. He never hesitated to help somebody in need. He was a wonderful dad a great friend and a truly amazing person. He will be missed greatly.
